I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who saw Dr. Denise Whitfield on the morning of Tuesday, April 22, 2014. At the prompting of a nurse, who recognized my mother's condition as a parasitical infestation, my mother sought Dr. Whitfield's medical assistance. However, without even inspecting her infected scalp, Dr. Whitfield proceeded to proffer my mother a psychological evaluation. While such an infestation could certainly cause anyone's mental faculties to be challenged, Dr. Whitfield abrogated her medical responsibilities in favor of a rote non-medical evaluation that was nothing more than an insult to a patient truly in need of medical assistance. For this reason, I not only recommend avoiding this doctor's practice like the plague, but I plan to take further action against her in order to prevent such an incident from ever happening to a needy patient again. -- Concerned and Outraged Son, Los Angeles, California, April 22, 2014
