Physical therapy is a health care specialty involved with evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual patient. We Diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. We examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, our therapist work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness-and wellness oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. PTS also play an important role in helping patients in the fight against obesity. We help clients to prevent obesity and maintain weight loss by developing fitness plans that promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability for both adults and children. Also, we help people who are already overweight or obese. We can balance the progression of the exercise prescription with the need for joint protection and safety during exercise. In addition, we are aware that overweight and obese individuals might have experienced past failures with exercise and can truly understand the difficulties these individuals might encounter. A prescription / referral are usually required from your medical doctor. But it is not required for our wellness and preventative care program, Medical insurances reimburse for therapy services, however if you don't have medical insurance we accept out of pocket payment, Call to schedule and initial Evaluation.
