Long before I ever developed any signs of fear or started having problems with dentists, I went out of my way to find the best dentist possible for my children. One of my kids had some early problems with cavities, and I was determined that amalgam was not ever used. Also, I wanted to make sure that the dentist who treated these problems would be sensitive and caring so that my children did not develop any fear or anxiety from discomfort or pain. You would be surprised how difficult it was to find a good dentist a decade ago (maybe not?) who met these requirements and used composite fillings. Almost all the reputable, highly referred dentists believed in amalgam and would try to convince you it was all right. When I first visited Dr. Sachdev, it was because I had some serious personal challenges, but I quickly discovered he was the best all round dentist I had ever met—and didn’t push amalgam. He is sensitive to individual needs, totally understands pain-free dentistry without sedation, and is a true artist with cosmetic dentistry. Not to mention, he is a highly educated gentleman who always treats everyone with kindness, consideration and the highest level of professionalism while being down-to-earth, very likeable and can carry on a conversation with anyone about anything.
