Bailey/Howe Library is a student and faculty oriented research center at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. With more than 1 million volumes, Bailey/Howe is the largest library in Vermont. It also offers a wide selection of reference materials that can be used in the library by the public, including books, government documents, microforms, manuscripts, archives, cartographic materials, audio materials and computer materials. The library also contracts with businesses to conduct specific research or document collection. The Special Collections Department of the Bailey/Howe Library houses the Wilbur Collection of Vermont materials, the rare book collection and the university archives.
