I work at Ken Wilson Ford in Canton NC, we detail the majority of our vehicles in house, but on occasion from time to time, we need an expert to restore and correct the appearance of a vehicle. Trent McGraw is definitely that "Expert", he does amazing detail work and his use of the term, "paint correction" is 100% appropriate. He seems to specialize in the difficult, the darker paint colors, like black for example. He explained to me that he takes 1 panel (door, hood, trunk, etc...) at a time, breaks each panel into 8-10" inch squares, then corrects and perfects each small section, ultimately leaving the door or hood (a panel) in perfect condition, correcting the paint and in turn the appearance. When he is done, the vehicle is back to new car quality / appearance or better. It's truly unbelievable. Trent doesn't use an orbital buffer like most everyone else, because of the potential for swirl marks in the paint, he uses a new method that is cutting edge. Take my word and call Trent.
