Route 96 Power and Paddle

In 2004 and 2007, we purchased Hobie kayaks from Jim Signs. He is a super nice person, experienced kayaker/cross country skier, passionate entrepreneur and top notch businessman.Whenever we have needed an item fixed or replaced, Jim has bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. We value buying from one who KNOWS his products; who seeks to know his customers' needs/desires in order to direct them to the product(s) that will meet their needs. In 14 years, we have NEVER had a conflict with Power & Paddle. We refer others to Jim's store all the time. He & his staff work HARD to offer the best products and services to their customers. We spent a WEEK at Jim's test pond, trying out all types of kayaks, before deciding upon the ones that are best for us. Power & Paddle provides a gorgeous mt. top test pond with a variety of kayaks, pfd's, paddles, pedals, paddle boards to play with. It is a fun place for the entire family, including the family dog(s)! Jim's employees are well trained, knowledgeable, friendly, great listeners and super accommodating! We know of no other store this size that offers as many different products and services for its customers. Everyone should visit Power and Paddle, especially its test pond! It is an adventure in itself! Jim is a giving, caring, honest person who runs an honest business. He expands his inventory each year, catering to the needs of his individual customers. Jim is a risk-taker, a top notch entrepreneur of the finest kind. NY state is blessed to have him, as are we!
