Grossly overcharged to dig a hole to septic system, replace a few pvc parts, call another company to drain system and fill hole in. Took 2 hours and was charged for 3 1/2 hours. After a month of repeated calls finally got reduced to $250. Lady answering phones and doing billing is very rude and unprofessional. Will never call again.

I had some major plumbing issues (main stack replacement) that I had called several places in regards to and received very large quotes and was told major wall and potential tile damage could occur to get to and fix the problem from various plumbers. I was finally able to get a reasonable quote from Hacker Plumbing and though there was a little bit of a wait to get this scheduled, the kind lady who answered the phone did fit me in and I am so grateful! Not only was the plumber, (Alan), professional, prompt, and polite, but he was able to do all of the repairs within a reasonable amount of time with absolutely no tile damage and very minimal tear out on a small part of the wall to get to the pipes. I had thought I would be spending a lot of money on drywall repairs, painting, etc. and am so happy it worked out this way! I recommend Hacker Plumbing 100%.

The company did respond to my request for service promptly. I had two problems that I requested to be fixed. I was shocked when I received the bill and disappointed when I questioned it. I will never call this company again. I feel being charged two service calls was unnecessary for what could have easily been handled by one plumbing, heating, and air "professional." When I questioned the excessive labor charge on one invoice (for less than one hour of actual work) I was told the worker starts charging labor by the hour when he leaves the company lot to drive to the client's house. I did not appreciate being charged extra labor due to the worker's lack of coming prepared to complete a standard repair. Since the plumber did not have two new screws for my toilet base with him, I assume I was charged the time for him to go and get two screws, come back to my house, and install. He did call to tell me it was an easy fix and I have had no further problems. Next time, I will find someone who is reasonably priced AND does a professional job. Unfortunately, since I do not get paid to drive to work, I do not have excessive income to pay someone while he travels to do his job and arrives unequipped to complete the job, consequently, costing me more for his time and travel.

Very unprofessional, very rude, cancelled appointment due to the rudeness of stating "We do not take emergency call, I have too many people ahead of you, I do not know when I could look at your problem, could be a week or two"
