Carmel, Indiana-based RAL was founded in 1987 to provide laboratory services for the emerging radon gas testing industry. RAL quickly expanded its capabilities evolving into one of the larger US EPA-listed national radon laboratories in the country. The company analyzes radon gas test devices used by professional radon testing companies, home inspection firms and consumers nationwide.In early 1988 RAL expanded its services to meet the needs of the corporate relocation industry - providing guaranteed electronic radon testing services ( following EPA protocols ) to an expanding relocation marketplace. RAL has performed thousands of relocation radon gas inspections in all 50 states, as well as Canada and the Caribbean, and has become one of the industry's largest network of professional radon testers. RAL can provide guaranteed radon test for one year, with optional extensions of up to 3 years. Today RAL is one of the largest full- service home inspection management networks in the nation.Since the introduction of the "ERC Relocation Home Inspection Report" in 1991, RAL has provided the relocation industry with thousands of ERC reports for in-house corporate clients and third party relocation companies. RAL personnel were actively involved in the development of the ERC "Home Inspection Report" which today is the industry standard report. RAL is a full service inspection company providing pest inspections, radon tests and any other needed inspections such as well & septic, pool & spa, professional engineering reports, and various environmental inspections.When corporations began offering "buy smart" programs for transferring key employees, thus paying for inspections at their destination home, RAL began providing full service inspections nationwide to meet that need. RAL will also provide counseling after the inspection to help you understand the report ( s ) and advise you if additional inspections are recommended.Radon Mitigation Service Agreement ( 2000 ):Radon mitigation service agreements ( often referred to as a "Radon Warranty" ) are now available from RAL Inspection Services.No up-front testing by the transferee means less worry and lower costs by eliminating the radon testing procedure and, because the agreement is transferable, a future buyer is protected from potential mitigation costs.
