General Info

I was born in Nowy Targ, Poland, a small southern Polish town. As a young man, I apprenticed carpentry with Goran Nillson in Sweden, coming to United States in 1996. After working with several construction companies in Westchester and Fairfield, I incorporated JK Home Improvement in 2003. Since then, I have worked with numerous customers on projects that have varied in time and scope, from a quick kitchen cabinet replacement to building large additions. If I could say what I love about my job, it is being able to take something which is not perfect, like wood, and make it look perfect. - Jerry Kowalski
