Emergency Care
If you feel you are in labor outside of regular office hours, you may go directly to the OB Emergency Department at Rex Hospital. If you have an urgent/emergent need outside of regular office hours, we ask that you contact our office at 919-781-7450 option 9 and you will be transferred to the physician on call. You may also reach the answering service directly at 919-213-8019. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

I was in academic practice in New York City for eight years which included medical directorship of the federally-qualified health center at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn for three years. I have called Raleigh home since 2016. I am elated to have joined Capital Area OB-GYN having worked closely with the wonderful group members for over 2 years as a Rex Hospital OB hospitalist.

Ever since my childhood, I have been mesmerized by the joy childbirth brings to eager parents and families. I love helping moms and families who are going through this wonderful journey. I appreciate having an opportunity to impact every woman and her family in a meaningful, purposeful manner.

Ultrasound
During your pregnancy, our practice assures availability of quality medical care at all times. This includes prenatal visits, care for high-risk pregnancies, urgent same day pregnancy care visits, consultations, management, delivery of your baby(s) and postpartum care. Your first obstetrical visit will be scheduled with our prenatal nurse after confirmation of your pregnancy with an ultrasound. You may select any of our physicians as your primary obstetrician. Since our six physicians will share the responsibility of your obstetrical care, your office visits can be rotated with the different physicians in our practice.
Radiology
With our convenient location access to screening mammograms has never been easier. Mammograms are an excellent tool for finding early stage breast cancer resulting in a decrease of mortality. We recommend beginning annual mammograms at age 40 based on screening recommendations from the American Cancer Society, American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, National Cancer Institute, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
