J.R.'s has done three major projects at our home (new backsplash, refinishing and installing new hardwoods, and replacing a fiberglass shower with tile and glass). Each project has been well-coordinated and beautifully executed. Fred, the owner of J.R.'s, has a discerning eye when it comes to color and design, which is a great help in the process. While their estimates are not the lowest you can find in town, they are impressively accurate, with few surprises, if any. You can be assured of quality work done right if you go with J.R.'s.

Fred and his workmen are among the most skilled and nicest people I have ever had do work in my home. He makes a thorough estimate, informs and educates me about the scope of the project and listens to my ideas. He is on time and completes the work expertly. His men exercise the same attention to detail that Fred does and always leave the job site clean and secure. They helped us recover from significant water damage from aging bath problems and then installed two full upstairs bathrooms, first floor foyer tile, and hardwood floors on the first floor of our home. They also installed an attic access and restored the columns on the front of our house. There is no job that Fred and his crew can not accomplish! I recommend them highly!

I first used JR's in August 2008 to install some vinyl and carpet in several student rental properties. Not only did he provide a quality product, but he made sure to work around other contractors onsite and got the product installed in the necessary, and short time frame. Oh, and by the way, they do more than just flooring his crew also installed 5 shower doors in the same time span.
