Independence Matters, Inc., provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services, as well as medical social work services to homebound people of various ages and backgrounds. We are based out of Channahon, IL and serve Chicagos south and southwest suburbs.Headquartered in Channahon, Illinois, we provide ancillary services to home health agencies. Independence Matters, Inc., is the life work of President and owner, Diana Marroquin Dorantes. Her qualifications include 25+ years as an occupational therapist, along with her staff of over three dozen licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists and medical social workers, gives Independence Matters, Inc., not only vast experience and the right qualifications but a personal touch.Whether you need a simple solution to supplement your staffing, a tailored on-site or managed partnership with variations in business peaks and trends or an employment opportunity; Independence Matters, Inc., will provide the best resources and ongoing management to ensure the success of your program.We offer support to Chicagos south and southwest suburbs and can handle your therapist staffing and homebound patient needs. This provides home health agencies with point of service information. We believe in keeping patients with the same therapist throughout their treatment. Our therapists develop a personalized plan of care to help patients reach their maximum level of function as quickly and safely as possible. They do this while working hand-in-hand with the patient, caregiver, family members and nurse.We provide licensed therapists to home health agencies that provide therapeutic services to those too sick or injured to leave their home.
