        Founded in 1924, Lectorium Rosicrucianum is a religious society that provides a range of spiritual and educational programs for individuals of all ages. It has more than 3,000 members and serves over 12,000 students throughout the world. The society additionally operates nearly 160 educational centers throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, as well as South America and Africa. It offers development programs related to spiritual awakening, such as those of the Gnostics, Albigenses, Cathars and classical Rosicrucians of the 17th century. The society also provides Bible study and meditation classes. It offers basic life reform programs, including vegetarianism and abstention from tobacco, alcohol and drugs. Lectorium Rosicrucianum offers membership services.
