Primary Care
I joined PAMC in 2000. I grew up near Joliet, IL and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in biology and the University of Illinois College of Medicine. After medical school, I completed a Pediatrics Residency and Chief Residency at Indiana University Riley Hospital for Children. I volunteer for the Ohio and national AAP to help improve the care that all children receive. I serve on the board of the Ohio Valley Primary Care Associates which is a group that creates quality improvement projects to help improve the care for all of the children of our community. My favorite part of my job is helping children and families to be healthy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports, and cooking.
Ear Infections
Colds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.

The woman at the desk is very kind and attentive to the kids. The nurse we had administer the flu shots was not friendly at all and did not engage with the kids at all. It also seems like the office could use some renovation, such as the chipped paint on the walls and badly stained carpet. So far, our experiences with the doctors seem pretty good.

Forms As a new patient, there is paperwork that must be completed. You can access these forms below or we are happy to provide all forms at your first visit. Please plan to arrive early. You will be asked to present your insurance card at the first visit and then every visit thereafter even if you insurance has not changed. For ADHD appointments please make sure both parent and teacher forms are completed and sent to us before the appointment.

In these cases, the most those providers may bill you is your plan’s in-network cost-sharing amount. This applies to emergency medicine, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, laboratory, neonatology, assistant surgeon, hospitalist, or intensivist services. After growing up in Cincinnati, I moved away for medical school at St. Louis University and spent 4 years in Indianapolis where I completed a Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency at Riley Hospital for Children. I joined PAMC in 2014 and have been so happy to be a part of the close-knit group ever since. I especially love sports medicine, and seeing kids for their well child checks and physicals every year. In my free time I keep myself busy having fun with my 2 kids, playing soccer, tennis and spending time outside.
