Malton Gallery

Really cool fine art gallery. Huge collection of art all "artfully" displayed. The gallery has a different collection every time I go in. This month, they have a wonderful boutique in the main space where you can get all kinds of jewelry and small items... surprisingly affordable for the quality! I also like the fact that they represent a lot of local artist...I like to support our local community.

The staff is friendly and will let you browse to your hearts content. Don't forget to go to the lower level...hundreds of pieces of art in this space. Give yourself a good amount of time because there is so much to see. Parking is in the back and very easy to get to across from the Rookwood shopping center.

The Malton Gallery has been around for a long time, but since their move to the great new gallery space, I find myself visiting more often. I like the fact that the gallery completely changes every month or so. The gallery owner has such great ability to hang a show to make it exciting and interesting. One visit to this gallery and you will be hooked! They make it fun to see and collect art. Also, the gallery hosts some very interesting and fun openings...the one for DAAP a few weeks ago was fantastic! Easy parking is a nice bonus.

Great contemporary art and sculpture. Malton Gallery has moved to a new location that is perfectly designed to showcase their huge inventory of art. They have an extensive collection of large scale paintings and sculptures as well as many smaller works of art. I like the variety of art available as well as the low key environment of the gallery. I also like the easy to get to location with parking in the back! Malton Gallery is the best gallery in town.
