We eaten there before and the service is always a little slow but tonight was ridiculous. We were fortunate to get our drink order only because we flagged the waitress down. We ordered at the same time and 30 minutes passed and we hand not even received our appitizers let alone a drink refill. In fact, after the couple next to us left for the same reason, we had to hunt the waiter down just to graciously pay for the drinks we had. I work in Claremont and I will NEVER go there again.

The setting is pleasant, fresh flowers and tasteful decorations. The presentation is nice but the taste--a real dissapointment. We sent the shrimp hot and sour soup back--way too sour ,and could not locate more than two shrimp in the pot. The entre came, pinapple fried rice, under-cooked rice and no flavor. The owner was none too happy when I voiced my concern. I am lighter in the tummy and the wallet -- $33.00 lighter to be exact.
Bua Thai gets a big BOO-Ya.

I couldn't disagree more with the negative & pompus prattling in the review which preceeded my own. Clearly this person ( I am sure) is a proffesional food critic, restaurant owner & world class chef. I hold Thai food to be one of my favorite cuisine's & dine on it regularly. I am also studying to gain my degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Management & have been working in the field for many years. I honestly find the establishment to be quite enjoyable & as authentic as any I've eaten at & I live in the center of Rowland Heights where I can assure you we have no shortage of quality eastern cuisine. Yet I make the drive there about once a month to dine with family & friends. It has a very pleasant atmosphere & good friendly service. I look forward to eating at critic number one's 5 star resteraunt soon & will report back on the experience. Until then go get yourself some Thai Food & have a good time.

I have been waiting for a good Thai restaurant in Claremont. Sadly, this one is not good now, and may never be. The Pad Thai is horrible. Everything else, mediocre. Can't they get a decent cook?
