Clark Builders Inc

I have lived in my house for 18 years. My roof needed to be replaced so I called Clark Builders, Clark, NJ. I had a small roof done and a large flat roof also. I was given verbally a 10 year guarantee. First heavy rain storm water was pouring out of my cabinets, ceiling is ruined and cant use my cabinets. Same two guys came back and said they fixed it. Still pouring in rain when it rains and they are no longer anywhere to be found. The roof was around $6,000, I am at my wits end right now. Winter is here and I don't even know who to call or trust anymore with this situation.

We used Clark Builder's to address an issue with our roof.

The charge was exorbitant in relation to the service performed.

They gave us a year warranty and had to come back within the year because

the issue was not resolved. They slapped on some tar looking

substance ( I could have done that with a trip to Home Depot)

but the problem persisted. They had the nerve to tell us if we paid them

an additional 400 dollars they would come back again.

Bottom line: From the start, Clark did not fix our issue, but had no

problem taking our money.

It's not like the roof was fixed for 5 years and then we started having

problems again, it would not be fair to complain in that instance.

HOWEVER, our problem WAS NEVER fixed and we feel they

should have done everything to fix it, regardless.

I hired Clark Builders to do a complete new siding on my home. They did an outstanding job, took no money up front and did a fabulous clean up. One of the things that attracted me was the fact that the company has been in business 40 years. Everytime I had a question and called them a live person actually answered the phone instead of getting the normal annoying answering machine. I would recommend them to anyone looking for new siding or repairs.
