Pain Associates of North Tennessee

When I came to this office, I was in unbelievable pain and no one could help me. I have chronic back pain and I'm in a job that requires me to be on my feet ALL day long, so it's constantly aggravated. Some of the best health care professionals I've seen in my life have been nurse practitioners, and none of the so called doctors or orthopedic surgeons could ease my pain. Angie is awesome--a miracle worker. She was able to diagnosis my problems before all of the xrays, scans, etc. Her explanations made sense and were always correct. The reason they are strict about the pills is so you don't accidentally kill yourself---which anyone with a right mind would understand and appreciate---not to mention that it is illegal for you to take more pills than you are supposed to---so she's savin' your neck from going to jail as well. You should be thankin' her instead of berating her.

There is no doctor, only a practitioner. They ONLY care about making a buck and will create multiple ways to do this- none to your benefit. They outright lied to me telling me Tennessee had changed its laws and that is why they had to raise their rates and make me come in every month and on and on. The nurse's attitude stinks- if you question her you might as well leave because she will kick you out. She is the first nurse I have met with a god complex. All in all, I wasted a lot of money there for rudeness and to know it is the worst pain clinic I have seen in my 30 years of pain management.

i went there about 2 years ago,,,they are flakes they can not do real injestion they will send you out to another doctor for that,, they are impossiable people i spoke with the pa and we agreed to one thing then she was out of town and no warning then when she came back everything was botched up,, then i tried to get the front desk girl to understand,, and they cut all my scripts in half just to upset me scince they could understand english to begin with,,, save your money and time,, dont bother with this wanna-be facilty

This clinic is listed under a doctors name but you will not ever be seen by a doctor only a nurse practitioner, who has a foul attitude. This is suppose to be a pain management clinic, but it is more like a pill management clinic. They will have you to the point where you will be fearful of taking your medication, in fear that your pill count will be off. Note: They do count your pills, do call you in for random pill count and will make you take urine test. I took pictures with my phone when the girl that was suppose to be counting my pills left them up on the front desk with no one around. Then when she counted my pills today, she wiped her nose with the back of her hand and proceeded to touch each pill with no glove on. You are better off going to Dover Road Medical Center than here.



I am so disappointed as I had hoped that this clinic would be the one to finally help me with my pain. Boy was I wrong.
