First if all, if I could give 10 gold stars I would. Truly, the best experience I have had with a dentist. I wish I had found Dr.Grodin years ago.( I have had very bad experiences with dentists in the area). My treatment was painless. Dr. Grodin, made suggestions, (not an over sell, like many clinics). I took his recommendation and wow, this is a game changer. My teeth are absolutely gorgeous. (Not Hollywood phoney!). I smile all the time. Just fairytale amazing. I am so happy with the results. Another important note i must add. The office manager, Doreen, who helped me work out the fees was with delightful and extremely accommodating . (She looks like Loni Anderson, with the warmth and compassion of Aunt Bea, just delightful). She was so helpful in this final process. The cost/prices, for treatment, with his expertise and experience so REASONABLE. Anyone looking for a Hollywood smile, don't go anywhere else. I waited too long, wish I had found Dr.Grodin's office years ago.

Every person's experience is different I suppose, but I am very surprised to have read a negative review about Dr. Alan Grodin.
I have recently become his patient, but I have a great deal of experience with him indirectly because my mother has been his patient for many years. She has always said the absolute highest things about him, and I have seen his work. For a picky person like my mother to be satisfied, he must be good...
My turn... Today I called the office to reschedule an appointment only to be greeted by the doctor himself! How many dentists of his caliber (are there many from which to choose?) are sitting around the office pushing papers and CHEERFULLY answering phones after hours?! Anyway, his computers are down so I have to call back on Monday, but we had a nice chat during which I told him about how my most recent experiences with other dentists (more than one) include my "fixed teeth" not feeling like a good fit after simple fillings and cosmetic abnormalities.
Physical Pain... The oasis of torture for us all... My mother told me I would not feel the local injection necessary for my crown (I say it's necessary). Shrugging that comment off (FOR GOOD REASON), I can now honestly say she was RIGHT!!! I think I felt something, but I wouldn't call it pain. It was literally bizarre, especially considering how carefully I was paying attention to how it felt. Gentle, mild intrusion is OVERSTATING the level of discomfort I had. The time he took was remarkable and APPRECIATED.
Now for the toughest part... $. Even without insurance, EVERY DENTIST wants to upcharge for ANYTHING they can, both before and AFTER service. I RUN!!! 2 years after last being seen by a dentist, I took my Mother's advice for a NEEDED crown on a crumbling tooth. I am so far VERY SATISFIED with how I am charged for service, and a kind quote was given for an EXCELLENT set of x-rays, eval and GREAT cleaning. PLUS, I wasn't told my mouth was a hideous mess needing 10G in work!
On Time 2!
