Mace Security International manufactures a variety of professional surveillance equipment and personal defense products, including closed-circuit television cameras, digital video recorders, plasma and liquid crystal display monitors, quad monitors, multiplexers, biometric access, counter surveillance equipment and pepper spray. Mace operates in five separate divisions, which include Mace Pro Security, Mace Personal Defense, Mace Consumer, Industrial Vision Source and Vernex, which manufactures televisions and monitors. Mace also operates numerous car and truck washes in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas. Mace Security International is headquartered in Mount Laurel, N.J., but the company manufactures and markets its security products business out of different locations throughout the United States. Its personal defense products are developed in Bennington, Va., while its electronic surveillance products are developed in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
