Provided by SuperpagesI enjoy shopping at other Stew Leonards locations in Yonkers, and in Connecticut, and I figured I would have a similar experience in New Jersey. Boy, was I mistaken. I went in the store late in the morning in the middle of the week. The store was well kept, and had a warm feeling to it. I walked down the first aisle which led me down past the office in the store. I politely asked the woman in the office for some assistance, and I was treated as if I was an annoying mosquito flying around in the room biting everyone. I was told to go to the back of the store and someone would come and assist me. I waited around for almost 15 minutes before someone finally emerged from the other side of the store to help me. I am no expert but I could tell the information given to me was contrived to push me into one direction as to what it was I was going to purchase. I don't appreciate this. When I checked out, I was sorry to interrupt the conversation between the cashiers, but I am the customer.

Provided by SuperpagesThis store has a very convenient location, and a great feel to it when you walk inside, but that is where the good part of this review ends. I asked for assistance with a wine, and asked some pretty basic questions about italian wines, and was thoroughly dissapointed with the knowledge level of the person who helped me. I thought the beer selection was extensive, and pretty well presented, but I guess gabbing with salesman or the delivery guys is more important there than actually helping the customers. I also was quite dismayed by the level of service I received when I checked out at the cash register. I had a difficult time finding a cashier, and had to go actively seek one on the sales floor myself. Once I was getting checked out I decided I wanted another item and leave behind what I had on a register. I was told that I was wrong for doing that, and would I do that in another store. At this point I was so dissapointed I just left behind my intended purchase and left the store.

Provided by SuperpagesNice store, decent selection. Terrible exclusive wine selection for the price. Wine staff's knowledge level left a great deal to be desired. Good luck finding a cashier when you are checking out. Need new cashiers!
