Taste of China

This "food" was horrible!!!

We purchased take out combination plates. We couldn't tell the difference between general tso's and tangerine chicken. There was no spice nor any citrus taste. My hubby and I debated as to which one was which. The only give away were brown hard pieces of something reminiscent of a citrus fruit skin. The chicken itself was dry. Not from being over cooked but from being left uncovered in a refrigerator. It reminded me of week old Thanksgiving turkey jerkey! I honestly thought I bit into a bone on my second bite!

The pork fried rice was just as gross. It was obviously left over rice mixed with white rice. And not even convincingly mixed. It was just chunks mixed up with extra soy s. thrown on top. And the white rice was COLD!

My daughters house Lo mien was possibly the worst I've ever seen or sampled. She even projectile vomited across the living room shortly after eating it!

Never the less we will not be touching the soup sitting on our counter. Nor the rolls. And the next time we get a craving for Chinese. I will plan better and have my chef hubby create it.

A: Because apparently an Italian/French trained chef makes better oriental food than these guys. And B: For the same price, we could have had twice as much food that actually followed USDA guidelines.

Even my dog wouldn't touch it. And I think Jayda makes a good point. Especially considering she fancies the litter box & dirty diapers...

DONT TRUST ONLINE MENU!!!! PRICES ARE MUCH HIGHER IN ACTUAL RESTAURANT! however food is good.
