The Cedar Chest

I have shopped at The Cedar Chest for years. Although I live out of state, we visit the CT shoreline often, camping at Hammonasset State Park or just enjoying a day trip. I always allow time for my favorite consignment shop.



The designer outlet malls are just down the road, but I could care less about them. It's much more fun to find the perfect designer outfit without paying outlet prices!



Maybe it's the thrill of the chase -- no two items are the same, or the great prices. I've also found some beautiful necklaces and earrings that have made perfect gifts for my very picky college-age daughters. Highly recommend stopping in, but allow plenty of time. They also have an online store that I haven't tried yet, but intend to soon. Shopping resale is a pretty smart way to save money and still feel like you have a million bucks!

This store is quality from the time you walk into the door, nice and clean..not junky like some are. I have been a long time customer, and I am always greeted with a Hello. They have great sales all the time. I love their brands, lots of Chicos which is my favorite. I am also a consignor and have always been pleased with my checks.
