A Classic Clip Plus

Our very big dog was very protective to us and children but aggressive to most other adults. We brought him to Julie and he was so calm and well cared for. Most of the time we couldn't even give him a bath but he did not even mind when Julie gave him a bath. Her grooming is EXCELLENT and I only wish we could get him to stay like that for more than an afternoon.

I can not say enough good things about Julie and A Classic Clip Plus. I have been using her for over 7 years and in that time she has always done an impeccable job with my two dogs. She treats them as if they were her own dogs and I would never consider going anywhere else. Julie and everyone at the shop are wonderful!

Agree with previous reviewer, the cage free environment was what I was impressed with. However, that was it. It was disorganized and obviously overbooked. I dropped my dog off at 8:30, asked if he would be done by 12, Julie said she wasn't sure and that I could leave him to play if not as I had to be in the city at 1:00. Told her I would be back at 3. I returned at 2:45 and was promptly told somewhat annoyed that I excited/upset him as he now saw me. Told me that he was not done, still needed his "head trimmed" (but she was working on another dog). Told me to wait in the hallway on the couch (a dirty dark alcove with a dingy sofa). Twenty minutes later she brought out a dog, apologizing that they were busy, yada yada..it was the wrong dog. I told her that. She called him the wrong name. After correcting her 3 times I gave up. She brought out my dog, again apologizing, and I asked her what she did as he obviously was not cut and had been there literally all day. All that was done in 6 1/2 hours was bathing and nails. She again said they were busy, and said there would be no charge which is nice but doesn't make up for the fact that my dog was the second dog there at 8:30 and not finished at 3:00. Especially since I saw other dogs leave that were not there when we arrived! I did give her some $$ for the bathing and nails. I know she has health problems, because she told me as soon as we got there. I suppose that accounts for some of the issues but suffice to say there were too many issues for me to return. I would rather have my dog in a cage for an hour waiting than take him back here where they can't seem to finish him in 6 1/2 hours.

I loved the cage free enviornment where my dog could play with the other dogs while he waited and the groom Grabrielle was wonderful. She was kind and gentle with him and really seemed to care about him, but it was Julie's attitude towards me that made me never want to go back there. I found her to be quite brash and rude. There is no reason for her to talk to anyone like the she did to me, especially since I was a paying customer and the amount that she charged me was totally outrageous. I will never take my dog back to her and I would suggest that anyone reading this think twice about it too. Maybe the lack of business will get her attention and make her change her attitude.

I have been taking my two dogs to Julie since she opened this shop. And since the beginning I have been completely impressed. The happy, healthy, low stress enviornment allows my dogs to enjoy their monthly groomings. The staff is upbeat and friendly, the enviornment is warm and welcoming, and most importantly the animals are happy. This grooming shop is unique to all others around. When I pick my dogs up they smell fantastic for weeks, their coats are shiny and soft, they have adorable bandana's, and they are having so much fun they don't want to leave. With results like these I never have to search for another groomer again. Thanks Julie.

I can't say enough about this place. They let the dogs play while not being groomed, and even while waiting they have playpens for them to wait in. The staff is very friendly and nice. I love this place and will be back for sure.
