The food was good, what there was of it. I made the mistake of ordering "lunch portions." That means that the ribs are three bites each one and you get two of them. And the portion of chicken was outright sad. Very skinny pieces, the dark meat barbecue chicken was a small puny drumstick and what was supposed to be a thigh. I've never seen a thigh that absent of meat!



And with lunch orders you get one ice cream scoop of whatever. Garlic mashed potatoes, maybe 4 small bites at most. Same with macaroni. That is pathetic. I'd rather get take out and buy my sides somewhere else. Honestly!



And you get one small cupcake like corn muffin. It was fine, but just very small.



If you go in here and order the biggest thing they have on the menu, then you'll be happy. And that will cost you around $20 per person.



And $3.00 for an iced tea! That's pushing it.



Excellent wait staff.



Your best to get take out, that way you save on no beverages, buy your own sides and you won't have a waitress hovering over you every 6 minutes "how is everything?" After she asked me 3 times every six minutes, I told her not to ask again with a smile on my face.



I would never go back to this place, unless it was for take out and I'd planned ahead of time to have my own sides.



Maybe once a year.



Dickey's barbecue is about half the price overall. And honestly, much better portions. They just don't serve alcohol. Fine by me.
