Ultrasound
Some medications can treat the symptoms of uterine fibroids, and while they do not eliminate them, the medication can shrink them. Some noninvasive procedures use ultrasound technology to destroy fibroid tissues. There are also minimally invasive procedures that destroy fibroids by shrinking the surrounding blood vessels. You can also have the fibroids laparoscopically removed.
