Northstar Cafe Easton

The Northstar Cafe is my favorite Easton pre-movie dining experience. Northstar's excellent menu selections are complemented by the urban trendy atmosphere. Someday I'll rouse myself early enough to try their tempting breakfast menu (e.g. prosciutto and poached eggs, sweet potato and turkey hash, mushroom frittata) but to date I've tried only their sandwich menu.



On my latest visit, I had the chicken and avocado sandwich. The roasted red pepper and argula are perfect complements to the flavorful chicken.



Having survived a 32-year meatless period and countless lousy veggie burgers, I feel qualified to declare the Northstar Burger (meatless) among the best I've tasted. Add a nice selection of draft and bottled beer, and you'll have the nutrients essential to complete the walk to the movie theater.
