Tri-Star Towing

Their web page says they accept Visa, MC and AMEX, but once they have you hooked up and to where you are going, they won't drop your car from the truck unless you pay cash. They say they no longer accept credit. They will take your car to impound until you pay in cash (and I imagine along with that, they will then charge impound fees.) What a rip off organization. They said, well you didn't ask when he came out if you accept credit. In turn, they didn't offer to tell us until we were already towed and they want paid.



I am going to write to Allstate Insurance who uses them for towing on their Emergency Road Service and suggest they drop them ASAP. What a bunch of RUDE people. How hard is it, when a person calls for your services, to say "Oh, by the way, you ARE aware that we need cash and don't accept credit, aren't you."



Beware of these scammers.

the service was excellent, the people were very courteous and the price was very reasonable.
