After spending 3 hours on each of my 4 visits in the store, refining the order, because the first time the order was lost and not saved in the computer, my order was not correct. Wrong toilet bowl, extra unnecessary pieces, wrong countertop, not the right pieces for shower installation. Now my bathroom is ripped apart and they are saying 4-6 weeks to reorder my toilet bowl. I went to Blackman and had the right one in 2 days. Now it’s time to get a refund and still waiting over 2 months. The manager Joe Esposito should have taken care of this issue as a courtesy for the screw up by his staff member Susan. They have both been avoiding the issue. I have been in retail over 20 years and would never treat a customer in this manner. Once they received my money they avoided any responsibility and blamed my contractor for their mistakes. This has been a nightmare, never again will I use this store and you can be sure I will let everyone I know not to get involved with them. Discourteous, unreliable, and nasty.

After multiple productive meetings with our designer/sales rep, Joe Thompson, he made a very good kitchen design. We placed an order on 2/27/15, gave a 50% deposit, and were told that turnaround time from the manufacturer (Starmark) was six weeks. It is now nine weeks, and no cabinets. We were promised "they'd be on the truck" last Wednesday, which turned out to be untrue. Next week will mark ten weeks. And no indication that anyone at Consumers is calling Starmark or otherwise following up. Joe Thompson's comment to our contractor: "They're just going to have to wait."

I paid good money for cabinets from KraftMaid. The first time consumers delivered 7 of the pieces were either cracked or the wrong color. I ordered my cabinets in a canvas color with is like an off white. I got some pieces with more of a gray color. When I called for replacements they told me 2-4 weeks for the new ones to be shipped. Of course it took 3 weeks and 2 of the 7 replacement pieces were the wrong color again! This time I complained to the store manager Keith Rudolph in franklin square and got no where, no reimbursement for having to pay my contractor for extra days, no rush order or anything. The manager even told me that the colors were close to finish and basically to deal with it. For what we paid I want perfect. Well guess what? I received a service report number and have yet to hear from them about the pieces. It's been 4 weeks and not a word from anyone. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I'm not sure if it's consumers or the brands they carry or both. No one is helpful, they just take your money. Avoid them at all cost.
