Wiles Academy Preschool

My son has been going to this school since he was 6 months. Most teachers sincerely love the kids and it shows, some are doing it just as a job and you could tell that their heart is not in it. For a while, it seemed like every week there was a new teacher in my son's class. Now, the teachers he has are wonderful.

Communication between administration and parents is horrible. There was never a letter sent out when it came under new ownership. They have numerous events for the older kids' parents to come to, (for example, Thanksgiving Feast). There are not near enough opportunities for parents to become involved, regardless of the child's age. Notices go home to the parents of younger kids when these notices were meant for parents of older kids.

In my opinion, some people are not qualified and do not have the experience needed to be in the positions that they are in and it shows in the unprofessionalism, unorganiztion and inconsistancy of communication with parents. My husband and I are currently "shopping" around for another school but have mixed emotions. On one hand, we love the majority of the teachers there and they love our son, on the other hand, we do not trust administration and never feel like we know of any new changes taking place, especially the ones that directly effect our son.
