Dr. Audria Kaye Black, MD

We've gone through several pediatric psychiatrists in our journey to health for our son, and this was by far and away our worst experience. I honestly believe Dr. Black doesn't particularly like children. She certainly doesn't appreciate a sibling who has no choice but to tag along for an appointment. She rarely makes eye contact with either the parent or the child, and in the course of about 4 visits, I never once saw her smile. She usually just looks down at the notes she's taking.

The front desk/office is horribly disorganized as well.

Steer clear. There are many other fine pediatric psychiatrist to choose from in the Memphis area.

Terribly unprofessional. Long wait times and short, rushed appointments. Pushes Christian and faith based treatment instead of accepted pharmacological treatments. She ignores diagnoses of other board certified psychiatrists despite risks of interruption in pharmacological treatment.

She's easy to talk to and not judgemental. Her office is very nice. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good doctor.

Dr. Audria Black is the best in her field of practice that I know!
