General Info: The Lancaster Family YMCA Camp Shand offers day and residential summer camp programs. It organizes residential camps for people between the ages of 7 and 12. The camp includes activities, such as canoeing, tubing and kayaking, as well as arts and crafts, archery, music and drama. The Lancaster Family YMCA Camp Shand offers the Counselor-In-Training Program, which provides opportunities to campers to work with children and develop leadership skills. It is located in Cornwall, Pa., and is operated by the Lancaster Family YMCA, which is a nonprofit, health and human services organization that serves over 2,500 facility members throughout Lancaster County, Pa. The Lancaster Family YMCA Camp Shand is accredited by the American Camping Association.
