Peter from The Village Builder clearly laid out the process of our kitchen remodel. Helped us get to a realistic budget for what was important to us. And worked with us to stay within the budget which we mutually agreed. He provided insight based on experience that allowed us to make decisions that were best for our project and budget.

New Construction
Demolition
If I was presented with a 1 to 5 survey for The Village Builder, I would go off the chart and give them a solid 10 on all counts! That is how impressed my son & I are with the team comprised of Chuck, Bruce, Tom, John, & Peter. They were presented with the challenging task of remodeling our abandoned & derelict house on 51 acres out towards Eddyville. Couple of small problems from the get-go. The bridge to gain access to the property was only crossable by light trucks and there was no water to the house. While beginning the demolition phase of the project, they systematically problem solved both these scenarios, shoring up the bridge from beneath and building sturdy curbs and railings on each side such that a well drilling truck could make it onto the property as well as other heavy equipment and then they had the well dug where we hit good water @ 117′ on the first hole! After that, in a couple of months, they proceeded to trick the place out with new trim and doors everywhere, custom cabinetry, all new kitchen & appliances, paint in & out and new Karndean flooring and carpets. Also impressive were the measures they took to make the house safer in general, including all new cedar railings on the entry deck, a half wall being built down the once open steps to the basement and the replacement of two exterior steps that were the wrong height such that somebody could have easily taken a tumble on them.
