Established in 1976, R.H.D.D., also known as Residential Home for the Developmentally Disabled, is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The organization serves people in Athens, Coshocton, Holmes, Morgan, Muskingum and Washington counties in Ohio. It offers transportation for grocery shopping, running personal errands and attending recreational activities. R.H.D.D. also provides assistance with bathing, cooking and cleaning. The organization offers emergency respite care and educational programs. In addition, it provides budgeting and menu planning services. The organization manages more than two group homes. It offers 24-hour services in private housing units. R.H.D.D. maintains a fleet of double wheelchair accessible vans and passenger cars.
