Evergreen Middle School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students of grade five through eight. It provides instructions in English, science, math, social science, history, physical education and language arts. The school also offers instructions in spelling, grammar, reading and writing composition. Evergreen Middle School maintains a library that stocks various types of books and reading and reference materials. Its learning center provides additional assistance in math and reading. The school employs teachers, speech and language therapists, custodians, aides, office staff and bus drivers. It organizes parent-teacher meetings and conferences. Evergreen Middle School is a part of the Evergreen Union School District, which enrolls more than 1,000 students in various programs. The school is located in Cottonwood, Calif.
