No one I trust more. I am a Real Estate Agent, and I have trusted this company to work with close friends and family. Very Thorough, couldn't be happier with the professionalism and extensive searches that this company does to finding the issues. They actually look the house over top to bottom, and do go over and beyond. There are usually issues, when buying a home, but this is one inspector I put my name behind. No one can catch every single issue, but this one sure tries to find them for you.. Also, takes detailed pictures in his reports. Literally one of the absolute best inspectors out there.

Terrible. I have not lived in my house for a week and I've already had to file 2 claims with the warranty company for a faulty component of the hot water heater and a new garbage disposal. Both of which were "reviewed" in the inspection report with no adverse findings. They either half-assed the inspection or has no clue what their doing. $130 I've spent on those claims. I should send him the bill. Ridiculous. STAY AWAY!

We had BT inspect a house we're buying. He was very attentive to every detail. His report was 28 pages long with pictures, items circled and pointed to, and detailed explanations of every listed item. He had told us that sometimes realtors get aggravated at the amount of time he takes and the issues he finds. I believe that since after the initial inspection the realtor that was working with the seller removed herself from the situation. Everything we requested be repaired or replaced was taken care of. The list was lengthy. BT even came back to recheck those issues to make sure they were taken care of and taken care of properly. (Additional charge possible.) My realtor stated she was very impressed with his reports....and she's seen a lot! I'm not sure why the previous reviewer had such trouble, but we could not be more satisfied with the work BT did. It was super easy to get an estimate (directions are clear on the website.) I'm not a phone person so I texted with the house information and he replied quickly. He was out the inspect the house within a few days. He spent over 2 hours inspecting and an hour or more afterwards going over his findings with us. He had a full report emailed to us the next morning as promised and everything was even color coded so we could easily find things that were code violation or safety issue or just something cosmetic. He even made notes for us of things we might want to do for upkeep of the home (trim trees, clean gutters, etc). When you buy a house the inspection is on you. I'm glad we paid to have it done. I was set on this inspector when I saw all of his certifications and licenses on his webpage. But the biggest thing for me was his E & O (I think) insurance. Means pretty much that if he says it's ok and it's not, you can come back to him on that and find out what to do about it. Easy to talk to, good at his job, reasonable price (especially when making a huge investment). I highly recommend him.

We use BT Home inspections servicing for our new to us but older home purchase in Nov. 2013. The inspector noted the air unit and the electric to be in working order, even though I knew for a fact during the inspection the power was not working in a certain room and the realtor went and turned the breaker on and off and they both stated it was all fixed and fine. From day one electric has been an issues, after we lost power in 5 rooms we called the home warranty company, which are thieves too and have not fixed anything. The air unit was very loud from the beginning but we thought it was maybe normal for an older home but after some cold weather the fan blades broke. The repairman stated that the motor had been replaced and to the wrong size motor and he claimed that could be our issue with the noise and the blades being over worked. We regret using this company and now worry we made a wrong decision buying this house, had we known of all the issues when making our purchase things would be different. I believe the inspector was working with the realtor to get the house sold and care nothing for us and we where they ones paying him. Not fair at all.
