A proud sponsor of The Vial of Life Program, a way of providing medical personnel with an individual s basic health record in the event of an emergency in the home, Regional Health Services is a consortium of health care services that provide healthcare to residents of Howard County, Iowa, and neighboring communities. It features many specialty programs, including mammography, cardiac rehabilitation and senior fitness. The group s members include: Community Health Services, which features the Healing Touch clinic; Cresco Medical Clinic; Howard Residential Care Facility, which features 24-hour residential care and adult day services; the Patty Elwood Center, which features a 24-bed secured unit specializing in the care of Alzheimer s disease; and the Lime Springs Medical Clinic. Regional Health Services is in Cresco, Iowa.
