Founded in 1982, Marianjoy Medical Group, formerly known as Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic, is a more than 200-inpatient rehabilitation-bed facility. The group specializes in treating spinal cord and brain injuries, strokes, and musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. It operates outpatient and balance disorder clinics. Marianjoy Medical Group offers treatment for joint replacement, fractures, arthritis, sports injury, and autism spectrum and lung disorders. It provides occupational, physical, speech language and aquatic therapies, as well as offers outpatient rehabilitative care to children up to the age of 18. Marianjoy Medical Group has staff of a rehabilitation nurse, case manager, psychologist, dietician and therapeutic recreation specialist. It is a part of Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital and maintains one of its locations in Palos Heights, Ill.
