Cote Real Estate

I have tried numerous times to get in contact with someone and no one ever answers. I have left many many messages and again no one will return my call. They have not fixed anything . I am very dissapointed with these people. In the beginning they started very good but not sure whats going on now.

This is a property management company who I entrusted to manage my rental property in Katy, and who did not do an acceptable job from beginning to end.



I am typically the last person to complain or grieve about a company, because I simply prefer to leave unsatisfied and in silence and never patron the company again. I believe complainers are annoying and I never wanted to be categorized this way...until now. So others can learn from my costly mistakes, I will complain about the lack of service provided by Cote. First, Cote cares about making a profit only and not taking care of people. Cote charges too much to manage your property. And it is not the monthly fees, but it is the other hidden fees in the contract that you really MUST be aware of --- they will rob you blind. They do not answer phone calls, or e-mails when you are in a situation that is urgent. When you call the office to talk to someone, the administrator will say that person no longer works there, and this has happened now about three times. Their make-ready costs are too high for the low quality (paint splatter found in different parts of the home) work performed. It has taken them over a month to even ANSWER an e-mail I sent about a security deposit that represents a good portion of money for damages from a past tenant.



It bothers me deeply when professional companies believe they can make a profit from good people who trust them to do a good job for them, but don't do a good job and most importantly, are dishonest. Companies that profit from good people but do not do a decent job for the customer, are criminal. I believe a professional organization who is doing business in Houston should not conduct business in this manner, and if are going to profit from their business, should earn it by being accountable. In the least they should have the courtesy to address e-mails and phone calls promptly. When there is no communication that indicates the company does not care about the customer, or the company's integrity. It also makes me feel they are running from something. Cote has shown to have no accountability when questions are asked, and they care little for people and simply about collecting as many hidden fees as possible from the customer. I am truly saddened by this, because in the least, we should be able to trust small businesses in our community...in this case, Cote is a bad example of small business integrity and truly makes me doubt the small businesses I am dealing with on a daily basis. I would not recommend Cote to manage your property.
