        Filthy Hotel Run by Thieves

        We were in Dallas for a week and stopped in this Best Western and asked for a room for 1 week. We registered with a credit card and were given room keys. As we entered the room the most disgusting odor smacked us in the face. The room had dirty filthy ripped up carpet. No pillows on the bed. And was just overall disgusting!! We went back to the front desk and told the clerk to "Never mind, we were not staying." He gave us a receipt which I made sure he wrote on and signed and dated that we did not stay and there would be no charge to our credit card. Now 11 days later we see our credit card has been charged $253 from these crooks! We called the hotel and explained the situation but all they keep saying is, "We show that you stayed 1 week." They are being rude and not agreeing to refund the money they stole from us! I have reported this to Best Western Corporate and they are looking into it. PLEASE, if you are considering a stay at this hotel, FIRST ask to see your room BEFORE giving them your credit card. Unless you are use to living in filth you will NOT want to stay at this DUMP!!

        This was the place to be in the 60,s and 70,s everyone who was anyone wanted to stay there. would love to hear from anyone who stayed there or worked there fr0n 1965 /1974 anytime Vera
