E.D. Walker Middle School is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 600 students in grades six through eight. It offers classes in math, science, social studies, writing and reading. The school operates a parent-teacher association, as well as Dad s and drama clubs. E.D. Walker Middle School provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. In addition, it offers membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. The school has a staff of over 40 individuals. E.D. Walker Middle School s extracurricular activities include theater, orchestra and band. It also organizes various athletic events, including baseball, soccer, volleyball and football. The school provides an internship career exploration program. E.D. Walker Middle School is a part of the Dallas Independent School District.
