Deep Springs Baptist Church Deep Springs Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist church located just northeast of Dalton in the beautiful mountain region of northwest Georgia. Deep Springs has a long and proud heritage. The church was founded in 1852 and for over a century and a half the church has been faithfully proclaiming the gospel of Christ and winning souls. From the early days when it was used as a hospital for wounded Civil War soldiers to the present the mission has not changed. There are more than 15, 000 independent Baptist churches in America and every one is an autonomous congregation. We are self-governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church. Deep Springs Baptist Church we have one message the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Deep Springs is the home of many soulwinning ministries including our senior adult ministry known as the "DMA's" ( Do Not Mention Age ), a youth ministry known as ET or Extreme Teens ( EXcited Teens Reaching Every Man Everywhere ), a chartered Master Club for children, a couples ministry, a single adult ministry, music ministries, graded Sunday school, a world-wide missions program, and more.
