        Pathway School of Discovery is a member of National Heritage Academies and provides academic education to more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school conducts classes in a variety of subjects, including language arts, science, math, social studies, art, music and physical education. Pathway School of Discovery has a library media center that offers a collection of materials for direct classroom instruction and professional staff development. In addition, the school teachers conduct one-on-one assessment sessions on a regular basis and monitors students progress through testing. Pathway School of Discovery has been operational since 2003 and is located in Dayton, Ohio.

        Pathway School of Discovery is an excellent school. They have high standards and the children rise to their expectations. The teachers are above and beyond superb. The commuications between parents and teachers is ongoing and I can follow my student's progress, trouble areas and even missed assignments on a daily basis on-line. I can either send an e-mail which is answered quickly or I can call them anytime.



        I have never regretted my decision to make Pathway part of my children's lives. Both kids (6th and 8th grade) have loved the school and my 8th grader is quite sad about leaving at the end of the year. These teachers form strong bonds with their students and they make themselves available to them at anythime. I have never seen anything comparable to these teacher's drive to help the students succeed!



        The school's motto, which the children recite daily, says it quite well:



        I AM A PATHWAY STUDENT. I STRIVE TO ACHIEVE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE. I EXEMPLIFY HIGH MORAL CHARACTER. I WORK DILIGENTLY TO PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE. I OWN MY SUCCESS IN SCHOOL AND LIFE.



        When my children attended Public Scool, "Moral Focus" was not part of the curriculum. It has made a tremendous difference in our lives.
