I had bad experiences with movers before and I honestly thought this was going be different.

They lost one of my boxes, they told me they were going to call me in a few days or write me a check for my loses but it has been more than 2 weeks and now every time I call I get directly the voicemail (maybe the blocked me?).

Note: don't believe in their low estimate, they tell you they are overestimating and there almost no chance they will extra charge you the day of the moving but the truth is they are going to find a way to extra charge you during the moving.

Complaints have been filed with the DOT and BBB. They are not a moving company, they are a broker. The third party they hired refused to disassemble our office furniture and reassemble it at it's destination, then informed me they would not show up for the move. Moving Forward Relocation failed to find a replacement moving company by the dead line, and is now refusing to refund my deposit of $899.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My partner and I used Moving Forward on our move halfway across the country. They gave us a very competitive quote given an inventory of our belongings. That amazing price DOUBLED three days before our scheduled pickup. The movers hired on our behalf by Moving Forward were TWO DAYS late. They deceived us on the nature of our quote (we were told by Moving Forward that our price was dictated by weight, but the movers based our quote on cubic footage), leading to yet another price increase. It took the movers a MONTH to get our belongings to our new house, and when they finally arrived, our stuff was a wreck. Our moving boxes were completely destroyed. We had numerous broken items. The customer service representatives at Moving Forward were completely worthless. None of our emails were returned, and every time we would get ahold of someone on the phone (assuming you can get someone to answer-most of the time no one did), we were fed false promises about management following up with our complaints. Our experience with Moving Forward has been an absolute nightmare, and no one at the company has made an attempt to make things right. AVOID MOVING FORWARD RELOCATION AT ALL COSTS

I put my information in online to get a quote for a move from Michigan to Florida. Moving forward relocation emailed me about a truck in the area. They told me they had a truck that was doing a delivery in Detroit and since their truck was already coming to Florida I would receive a discount. We agreed upon a price. The movers showed up, they did a great job, zero complaints. There were some extra charges for packing but I understand because packing wasn't included in my quote and i didn't have time to do it myself because of my work schedule. My delivery was a little longer than expected but i understand, its long distance moving. All in all, my items arrived in Florida perfectly without harm. I saved some money and I'm very happy with my experience. I would use them again and I already refereed them to my mother who is making a long distance move in the next three months. I have moved many times in the past so i know that its complicated. I have had good companies and bad companies but moving forward relocation was straight up with how everything would work and it was a smooth process.

This has been the worst experience with any company I have ever had, let alone a moving company. We did an inventory of my 2 bedroom townhouse (I live alone) and I got my estimate and took care of the deposit because everything seemed reasonably priced. I chose the option to let the movers pack some of my things (Kitchen) but I packed most of my other things on my own. They show up without enough blankets to cover some of my larger items (TV, coffee tables) and just used boxes to cover the glass on those items and wrapped them in plastic wrap. Wouldn't you know it, I was charged for them using those boxes to pack. Also, they showed up without wardrobe boxes for my hanging items and said they would come back on Friday to give them to me. Well the guy calls Thursday while I am at work and says he is 40 minutes away when can I be there? I called him, he didn't answer but left a message saying I couldn't leave work because he said he would be back Friday. Told him to not worry about it I will pack them myself and drive them to my new home. He calls me back the next day (Friday) and asks why I never called him back. The company is now adding charges to my estimate saying it is 1000 lbs over the estimate yet, my estimate of items was accurate and the washer, dryer and grill that were on the original estimate were never loaded. They added fees for bulky items which I never heard anything about until I was told I already owe $1300 more than the original estimate. My customer service rep has been absolutely no help, stated he would get back to me each of the last two days and has not and also has not given me any answers to why I owe all these extra charges. I still haven't even gotten my things delivered, no one has given me a date or called to update me on a date though I asked on Sunday if they could deliver it the following Sunday. Still no response on that. I am sure they will try to charge me another $1000 somehow once they move my things in again.

I'd give them 0 stars if it were an option. Severely under quoted to get part of my money. Movers showed wanted $3000 more. I simply didn't have it. Have severe autoimmune disorder. Left sobbing trying to find movers one day before closing on home. Terrible terrible!!!!!!!!!

I would like to give a big thank you to Dylan and the rest of the Moving Forward Relocation crew! They moved me and my daughter on September 1, 2017, and they were AWESOME.  They were prompt and very hardworking and fun to work with. I was moving out of Daytona Beach all the way to Dallas.

The entire crew was very respectful, hardworking, and kind. They even took my bed apart and put it back together at our new Dallas house. They were very careful and professional. Once we were at the new place, as hot as it was, they were still more than happy to put all boxes in the correct place. I can't thank them enough for their very hard work and courtesy. I have moved with several different local companies in my life and Moving Forward Relocation has been by far the best. I hope that their employers know how lucky they are to have such good guys working for them.

Moving Forward Relocation did an excellent job with our move from downtown Portland to Raleigh and we will definitely use them again (hopefully not for a while though)!  We have tried two other long distance moving companies in the past and were always disappointed. The other companies just seemed like local movers who didn't know much about doing long distance.... Moving Forward Relocation is a truly professional long distance moving company.

Everyone was friendly, quick, clean, and efficient, and nothing was damaged!  And please note we have lots of large pieces of furniture and antiques, and they took really great care to wrap everything and transport it with care.
