Wish there was a half-star option. Awaiting 4th repair, as the 3 other visits did not fix fridge. Month and a half without fridge. Customer service TERRIBLE and if Maytag didn't force me to use them, I'd be happy to see it and their business rot in hell.

Their website gives hours until 6 PM... I called @ 5:55 PM today and was placed into a cue that told me to "please wait" until someone could assist me. Then, promptly @ 6 PM, I was disconnected... I called back and received a message telling me "we're closed." Really? You can't clear out your cue before going home? You just hang up and leave? Buying my part somewhere else.

I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this place. We are using them because we purchased an extended warranty on our LG washer from ABC Warehouse. It took them over two weeks to get a scheduled appointment, when they arrived, the service man said we needed a new inner an outer drum for our washer but everything was covered. I had no issues then. About two weeks later the part came in and we scheduled an appointment to repair. (mind you, you must block off most of the day for service). Once here, the two repairmen proceeded to take apart my washer and then opened up the box with the new parts. Lo and behold an important part was missing --the seal for the washer. The repairman looked at me, said he had to get the new part, couldn't put the washer back together because he had broken the seal when he took it apart -- but none of it was his fault because the part was missing. I was in complete shock. Asked him how long it would take .. he said the part should be here on Monday or Tuesday (It was Thursday). I was furious to say the least, and then I realized that it was indeed their fault -- had they done their job correctly open the new parts up before taking the washer apart --- they would have realized the missing part and I would still have a usable washer to wash clothes in. I called the office, told them what happened and frankly they were rude. The woman finally told me she would have the manager call me the next day. HE NEVER DID. A week later I have called them to get the update... and it seems the part is scheduled to arrive on Monday of next week and we scheduled an appointment for Tuesday.... This has been nearly two months and no one there seems to think that is a problem. I have two teenagers and a newborn and living without a washer isn't easy. It's one thing to be incompetent, but they could care less, have poor customer service and accept no responsibility for their errors.
I am about to call ABC and tell them the kind of business they have associated themselves with --- a complete nightmare! If I could give a 0 I would.

The guys at Kenwhirl are great! Ray is a great and honest man and has always made me feel welcome! Their prices are very reasonable. I work in the retail industry so perhaps I am more understanding to pricing structures and on-site fee's. I always look at it like this, If I can't fix my washer, and it takes the guy 10 minutes and $75, then I can either learn more about the product so I don't have to pay someone, or I pay up. Also, just because he was there for 10 minutes, doesn't include drive time, gas for the vehicle, wear and tear on the vehicle, etc.
Back to it, I have always recommended Kenwhirl to my friends and family and everyone was extremely happy with the service they received.

HORRIBLE Customer Service!
On the end of August, one of my burners from my Jenn-air range stove had broke. I called Jenn-Air customer service and they recommended Kenwhirl service company. I had placed an appointment with the on the 6th of September. When the technician came to see what had broken; he told me it would take a week to order the part. I paid $ 65.00 for the service charge ( the part was under warranty) Once 1 week had past and nobody had called me, I called Kenwhirl to see what was going on. I was told by the customer service rep that shipping would take 5-10 business days. 1 week later the technician called and told me that they received the wrong part and that I had to wait an additional 3-4 days. Once they received the part, the technician came to my house , then realized that he or the company FORGOT to put the part in his truck. I had to put off work and other appointments just for them to forget! He then promised to come back tomorrow between 9:00- 9:30 am. I told him that he had to come no later than 9:30 as I had to go to work. He acknowledged and left. Next day came he was 1 hour LATE! I was late for work and there was no apology or any somberness.
I would not recommend this company to anybody and will be calling Jenn-Air to tell them to stop recommending this company. Please be advised!

Horrible scheduling of appointments, especially if you need before noon. 30 seconds in my house and they gave me estimates of $300 to fix a dishwasher and $250 to fix a motor in my ice dispenser of my fridge. That's not including the $75 dollars for the service call that lasted no more the 10 minutes at best. Of course, after telling them no to fixing the dishwasher, $50 of the $75 service call was applied to the dishwasher and only $25 was applied to the fridge that I decided to have fixed. This place seemed like a good business before coming out but attitude changed once they got their service call money. Would not recommend

Kenwhirl was super helpful to me, the homeowner. If you don't have the extra $100 to give to a repairman and you are willing to give your own repair a try...the guys at Kenwhirl walked me through what sounded like a difficult task (replacing a washing machine motor). Their insider tips on what to to and watch for made the repair a SNAP! Now I can use the money they saved me on something more fun!!!
