Gone to the Dogs

They were always really good with my male Bernese mountain dog, he loves going there. Our female Bernese is a rescue and very very shy and anxious so after seeing how much our male liked going there I asked if they could try grooming our girl who really doesn't like strangers touching her and also doesn't like to be brushed. I told them to please call me if she seems stressed, even if she is just half done or not even started ... I waited in the parking lot for a while, then fully expected a call on my way home ... but they where so good with her, they took all the time she needed and looked beautiful afterwards. Needless to say she likes going there too now. They really earned my trust. I am sorry the other person who wrote a review here first had a bad experience when checking out but I never had any issues with them and I tip the groomer generously, she is really great with my dogs

Horrible Management. I adopted a dog at Tails and they told me that a groom at this place would be 50% off if I mentioned the adoption. I called to make an appointment and was told it would usually be 20.00 for a bath and therefore, with coupon, 10.00. I was also told this when I dropped off. I was also told this when I picked up. THEN, when I was rung up, I was told it would be 20.00. I stated that that was incorrect and got the rude reply of...No it is not, I own the place.... I explained that I had been told more than once that it would be 10.00 and was told that it was "an employee slip". I stated that it was a mindset, not a slip, since I had been told more than once. At that point, she threw the receipt at me...yeah, not a typo...threw the receipt and said ....GOODBYE...... How nasty is that. I wish I had refused to sign the credit slip. But I am a good person, unlike this woman who should have honored the quoted price and then privately talked to her misinformed employees. I WILL NEVER RETURN. I will spend my money at a place where the people are normal. Good Luck Gone to the Dogs. With management like this, you're gonna need it!
