Kurt's Steak House

Wow-we were really looking forward to going to Kurts-a place we usually went for special occasions. We looked at the recent reviews and were cautious as they didn't seem to be too good but thought that you can't please everyone and maybe these reviews were not really fair. Sad to say that we were really disappointed in our meal and we went with friends who were also underimpressed. My $30+ dollar NY strip steak was totally tasteless and usually the steak does not rely on the onion rings for flavor...only got a small spoonful of potatoes and my steak-tho ordered medium rare, was too well done-not soft and buttery like it should have been. The meal was way too pricey for the quality we received...unless things change drastically, unfortunately, we will need to find another place for special events. A real disappointment that we keep talking about unfortunately....
