Tax Doctor

We have been going to Tax Doctor for a few years. The Staff is polite. Today we went and done our taxes, and the receptionist, and the tax preparer, were so polite, and happy. I actually told the receptionist, it was nice to see someone who liked what they do, and it showed. It does not take a long time, the fee is a little high, but they are accurate. We will see them again next year, and we also like the fact, they send you a reminder to make an appointment during tax season.

Been going to them for years and loved them till 3/26/15 me and my son went in there to get his tax information so he can get his taxes done else where and all of sudden he owes 125.00 dollars don't understand why this is brought up now since they say this is from past years and they were supposed to be taking fees out of his check automatically and i just want to know why wasn't this caught last year kinda funny how he wants to go else where and all of a sudden he owes them money

I had been going here (Tax Doctor on Ingersoll) for several years. I was referred by a family member who had been going there for a couple years as well. The first year I went, it was great, but not since then. Three family members who go here have been audited & ended up owing more money two years in a row. I can only think that they have a high volume of mistakes & now the IRS is auditing many of their clients. One of the returns was a very simple return for a 22 year old, so we are unsure how a licensed tax professional would have missed this or messed this up. The staff is nice, but do not seem very well educated on the tax laws or what they are doing. The past two years I have gone, they were unsure of how to certain things on my 1040 & tried to pull up my previous years tax return to see how the preparer the year before had done it! Scary. They use a simple program that you can do yourself online. No sense in paying for their overpriced service when you can get the same results yourself online. Also, when you leave, you do NOT get a copy of your tax return. You have to wait a couple weeks for them to scan everything into their system & then you have login to some site to access your returns. The site is impossible to get into as it rejects your password. I will not be returning here this year. Using turbo tax & going to save myself a couple hundred dollars.

The representatives and associates were very kind and helpful and helped me get the most back from my rebate. They are awesome and I tell everyone I know to go there and get there's done there. They take their time and dont rush you out the door. I love them.
