Bondy's Nissan

I had previously thought Bondy's was a great dealership (other than the service department). I can now tell you that they lie to you to sell you extras during the car buying process. If you are unlucky enough to actually have to use these things watch out and expect to have to put money out! I purchased the GAP insurance and unfortunately had an accident that totaled the vehicle. I was told that the GAP would cover anything that the insurance didn't cover. It was a flat out lie! They tried to say it was my insurance companies fault but the bottom line is they lied to me. I asked them to cover the 700.00 that the GAP did not pay and the general manager said he would give me 700.00 if I purchased a vehicle. I told them we weren't replacing the vehicle and he said that was the only way he would do it. He acknowledges that they were wrong by offering to write me a check but only if I buy another car. Bottom line is they did not disclose what GAP would not cover and the document that was signed does not tell you either. I am very disappointed with Bondy's Nissan and it's management. I had always recommended them but now I will never recommend them again. Also they pay you to write a good review for them which makes me wonder about the honesty in all these reviews.

I searched for the best deal on a 2014 Nissan Altima. I live out of state (Georgia), but my family is from the Dothan area. I decided to look close to them and found Bondy's Nissan in Dothan, AL. The deals on line beat anything around my area, so I decided to get pre-approved on line for a Dothan purchase. Within minutes, I had a call from Customer Service at Bondy's. A couple of minutes later, I knew that I was pre-approved for a purchase with Nissan financing. I decided to travel the 200+ miles to Dothan to save the $2,000 on rebates. When I got there, Mike Slaughter met us at the door and treated us very well. He showed us the different options available on the Altima and helped us to make an informed decision. After looking at several different package and color options, we decided to test drive one. I really like that we were able to test drive without a "chaperon" from the dealership. It allowed us to talk about what we liked and didn't like without having someone listening in. Mike was great at helping us narrow down our color options and even offered to take us to the back lot to look at an even bigger selection. When I decided on the car I wanted, we went inside and were treated great by everyone...even if they weren't our salesman. Mike Lowe, from financing, also made the buying experiences easy and seamless. He found me the best interest rate and explained extra car care packages that I could choose from. I felt like I got the bottom line price without having to haggle and go back and forth. I never felt pressured at all. I can't thank everyone at Bondy's Nissan enough for making this the most pleasurable car buying experience I've ever had. They've got a customer for life
