Hollywood Nails Design

Just had a mani-pedi here today. The woman was very nice and did a great job. It's a quiet and clean salon. I will go back.

I'm shocked to see that someone gave this place 5 stars. It must have been different four years ago. I went in to this salon today with my friend for us to both get pedicures. At first, it seemed fine as we were taken right away and the environment was nice. During the pedicures they did a really good job, but that is the only reason they deserve two stars. Towards the end of the cleansing they asked if we wanted to regular or spa pedicure and we said regular but they still went ahead and did the spa pedicure even though we didn't ask for it. This spa pedicure consisted of them putting extremely hot rocks on our feet and legs that was almost overbearing. After that they started painting our toes the colors we had previously picked out and we asked for a design. Coming from a place called hollywood nail DESIGN you would think they knew what a design was. They looked at us confused when we asked for designs and then had to consult three other people about what a design is and what we were asking for. They literally needed three people to translate what we wanted and the colors we wanted in order to complete the designs we asked for. My friend asked for a cheetah design on just her big toe and they didn't even know what that was.. she showed them a picture and the design still looked like they just put polka dots on her toe. Unpleased, she asked for them to remove the design and just paint it the solid color. Again, they needed three people to translate what she was asking. After they finally understood, they gave her attitude because she wasn't pleased and were pretty much begging for her to pick a new design. While I was looking for my design, they were so impatient when I was looking on my phone to find something that they pressured me into picking one of their designs. They then rushed us to the nail dryers and rushed us out of the building and only allowed us to dry our nails for two minutes, luckily they didn't smudge. When we went to pay they just looked at us and didn't even tell us what we owed. Horrible horrible service. My suggestion for this business is to learn to please your customer and not be upset when they are unpleased.. just fix it. I will not be going here again.

Hollywood nails has great prices. Usually, walkins are taken with in 15 20 minutes of arriving, but occasionally you may have to as long as 1 1/2 hours.

The decor leaves a lot to be desired.
